Solution for Tired and Puffy Eyes

Sometimes no matter how much sleep I get my eyes still look as if they witnessed a 72 hour marathon of The Walking Dead.  Definitely not a look I want to share at work or while I am out running errands.  Here are a few quick fixes to get your eyes back to looking fabulous!


1.  Erase Redness.

Clear overworked eyes by squeezing 2-3 drops of Visine's Advanced Redness Eye Drops ($1.99) in your eyes.  Blink eyes to mix.


2.  Wake Up Eyes!

Give your peepers a shot of caffeine....seriously.  Using the Detox Eye Roller ($24.00), gently roll
the tip from the inner to outer corners of the undereye skin 2 to 3 times.  The extra shot of caffeine will reduce dark circles around eyes.

3.  Soothe Undereye Skin.

Message Mary Kay's Indulge Soothing Eye Gel ($16.00) into undereye skin to relieve soreness and relax eyes.  For added relief, keep the soothing eye gel in the refrigerator so that it goes on extra cool.

4.  Maximum Relief (optional).  

If time permits, strap on a cooling eye mask (already cooled in the refrigerator), like the one sold on Amazon for $7.95 for 20-30 minutes.

5.  Tighten Eye Skin.

Repair eye droopiness by applying Mary Kay's TimeWise Replenishing Serum + C ($ 56.00).  Pull up around the eyes.  For mature skin, try out Mary Kay's TimeWise Repair Volu-Firm Eye Renewal Cream for $42.00.  Both items lift and hydrate skin around the eyes and reduce dark circles.  The products are worth every cent.

The Ultimate Pedi Experience from Your Home

Even at small nail shops you end up feeling the pinch of a really good pedicure.  A deluxe pedicure can end up hitting your wallet anywhere from $25 to $35 dollars.  If you need to perk up your puppies once to a couple times of month, trust me, it hurts.  But with a modest investment, you can have your own pedi experience in the comfort of your home for as little as $12 a pedi session.  Purchasing the equipment, foot bath and foot messager, will be a cost at first but with multiple at home pedicures it will well be worth the investment.

Here's How

1.  Get some warm water running.

You have some options here on how you want to do this.  You could simply fill part of your bath tub up with warm water (get a bath stool so you will have a place to sit).  Or you can get a large bucket like the Green Foot Detox Message Spa Bucket sold on Amazon for $18.42.  My favorite option is to use a foot spa that generates bubbles.  I like the HoMedics Foot Salon Pro for $69.99 (seen on right).

2.  Add some luxurious essential oils to water.

Again, lots of options with this one.  You can add tree tea oil, foot salts, or bath bombs.  My absolute go to hands down, or should I say feet down? are the Lush bath bombs.  Try out the Avobath bath bomb for $6.35.  If you decide to use the bath bomb, split the bath bomb in four parts.  You only need a quarter of a bath bomb to soften your feet.  

       

3.  Message your feet.   

Get some of the initial tension off of your feet.  Have the HoMedics Vibration Foot Messager with Heat ($19.88) relax your puppies for 5 min.           

4.  Soak and relax feet.

Soak your feet in the water bath with essential oils/bath bomb/salts for 30 to 45 min.  Bring something to read, watch some TV, or simply listen to some soft music and rest your eyes.

5.  Soften, Exfoliate, and Moisturize feet.

Take your pedicure to the next level!  While your feet are still slightly wet, rub Mary Kay's hand
